My journey in discovering my love for architecture was a long one. I have always been very interested in the arts. As a child, I enjoyed drawing pictures, writing and illustrating short books, making craft projects, building toy homes and towns, playing multiple instruments, and attending my older brother's orchestra concerts.

My talent in art was recognized from a young age, and I began taking art classes in high school. When deciding on what I wanted to do with my life, one thing was clear: I needed to do something creative.

My initial plan was to become an interior designer, and I thought a degree in architecture would be beneficial in doing so. I began Drexel's 2+4 program not fully realizing how amazing architecture itself is. But from the first day of Studio, I knew I wanted to be an architect. I fell in love with the challenges presented in marrying aesthetics and function, and I discovered a deep sense of fulfillment when I was finally able to overcome my struggles and make something beautiful.

I feel as though I have found my calling, and I want to continue to enrich my life with architecture.
