Studio Two
Conceptual Dwelling
For our final project, we designed a highly conceptualized "rowhouse" to be placed in a site given to us on Winter Street in the Powelton area of Philadelphia. We visited the site multiple times and designed houses to fit in with the context of the site on a conceptual level. My design was driven by the manipulation of light. Rowhouse Redesign
This rowhouse was designed in the same site as the conceptual house. This design harkens back to the conceptual dwelling, looking specifically at the lighting conditions. In addition, we were to come up with our own clients and design a home specifically for the client. My clients were a young couple of architects who work from home. Here are a few images from the design. Please click on the image to enlarge.

Winter Street Redesign
This was our first group project in which we did a complete redesign of Winter Street, the site from the two previous projects. We then modified our homes from the above Rowhouse and fitted them into the site, each student creating two homes. We had four weeks to complete the master plan and design two individual homes each.
