My Personal Artwork
These are some samplings of my artwork. Please click the images to enlarge them and view their brief descriptions.
I painted this in acrylic paints for a friend of mine.
I painted this table in high school as an assignment for my art class. We were to copy a famous painting onto a piece of furniture. I chose Van Gogh because his bold colors make him my favorite impressionist.
This dragon was done for my art class junior year of high school. It uses oil pastels, my favorite medium.
This drawing was part of a sketch exercise in which we had to draw a structural element. I chose the beam structures on the train platforms of 30th Street Station. Drawn in black ink on white paper, this image was manipulated in Photoshop.
I donated this to my church's auction and it sold. Done in acrylic paint.
This was a gift to the pastor of my church when he retired. Done with oil paints.
I painted this with a friend as a service for an organization called Dawn's Place, a shelter for victims of sexual trafficking. It is on the wall of their building, about seven feet tall and twelve feet wide. Note: the design is not mine!
I made this clock for fun. The flowers are done in acrylic paint, and I cut the Japanese numerals out of balsa wood.
Pickin' Peaches was done in acrylic paints for my high school auction. It also sold.
